The Tigray region is suffering from indiscriminate violence by Eritrean soldiers and the Ethiopian Army commanded by Ethiopia's Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, who was awarded a Peacenovel Prize for his work as recently as 2018. The massacre, which began in early November, has claimed thousands of lives of Tigrayans to date. More than 60,000 people have already fled to Sudan. The Ethiopian region, formerly affiliated to the "Tigray People's Liberation Front (TPLF)", is still suffering from the inhuman violations committed by the Ethiopian and Eritrean armies. Although the war events have been tried to be hidden from the public - so it seems - it is becoming increasingly clear that the situation of the civilian population of Tigray is not improving - on the contrary. Reports of systematic and massive plundering, rape, executions and massacres are pouring in.
